Like his Clonal Selection Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this Syrah uses fruit from a number of different Elgin parcels. Entirely destemmed and subsequently aged in 58% new wood, it's taut, tangy and meaty, with good weight, appealing tapenade and black olive flavours and a bright, refreshing, mineral core.
