Just a little shy and awkward at this early stage, the Folatieres shows a lot of stone fruit skin, peach stone and blood orange on the nose. The texture is impressive, grippy with extract and pithy in its fruit nature. A long, chiselled and focused wine, it should improve and unfurl with 2-3 years in bottle. It feels tightly coiled for now.
