Iron comes from red ferricrete soils in Malmesbury and has been part of the Mullineux’s supply base since their days as Tulbagh Mountain Vineyards. Dense, dark and appealingly brooding, it has top notes of clove and white pepper, intense blackberry, blueberry and steak tartare flavours and the concentration to reward cellaring.
