The restrained, cool and fresh nose offers up reasonably ripe aromas of red cherry, plum, violet and forest floor. There is very fine richness to the delicious and impressively intense middle weight flavors that possess notably more minerality on the driving and moderately austere finale. This beauty is firm but not aggressively so and will need at least a decade to be approachable. Highly recommended.
