The 2015 Blason d'Issan, which showed well out of barrel, offers a lovely ripe blackberry, cedar and estuarine-scented bouquet that opens and gains vigor with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, crisp and fresh with a fine line of acidity and very attractive blackcurrant and raspberry coulis notes on the finely tuned finish. This is a delightful second label.
