Less than 1,000 cases are produced annually of Cos d'Estournel's white wine which is made from grapes grown in the Goulée vineyard in the Northern Médoc. The vineyard is planted with 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon. First produced in 2005 and now there is also a second wine - Pagodes de Cos Blanc.
The 2024 vintage is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon. Aged in barrel but only 7% new oak.

The 2024 Cos d'Estournel Blanc has more delineation and tension than the Pagodes on the nose. It's more citrus-driven with touches of yuzu and lime. The palate is fresh and bright on the entry, with a keen line of acidity and an intense lemon peel- and orange zest-tinged finish. This is a very fine Cos d'Estournel Blanc that will be difficult to resist in its youth. 2027 - 2042
Pale lemon in colour. The nose here is fairly exotic with pineapple and salted lemons, passion fruit and nutmeg. The palate has the same saline core thanks to carefully judge wood. This is lively, with bright acids cutting through the palate to lift any sense of over-ripeness back into citrus and flowers. Good length with a very bright finish.
Features notes of fresh lemon juice, grapefruit, and lime leaves, with touches of sea spray and yuzu. The light-bodied palate delivers intense citrus flavors with chalky sparks and a crisp backbone, finishing with impressive length.
60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon.
Restrained right now, just getting revved up, delivering pear, saffron, elderflower, white tea and liquorice root. Limestone soils in northern Médoc, field grafted from Cabernet Sauvignon in 2021. This needs carafing, and should take a few years before really opening up, but has a ton of texture, confidence and character. 3.04 pH. Harvest 17 to 27 September. 8% new oak.
The 2024 Cos d'Estournel Blanc is one of the best editions of this wine I can remember tasting. Rich and ample, the 2024 possesses notable textural richness but also a good bit of moderating vibrancy. The balance here is simply superb. Lemon confit, almond, white flowers and chalk build into the layered, resonant finish. Drink 2026-2034.
A full-bodied white that’s 60% sauvignon blanc and 40% semillon. Very bright acidity with creamy wood influence. Intense kiwis, green stone fruit and guavas. Long, intense, textured and so vibrant, with a lasting, mouthwatering finish.
