A negociant purchase, where Maxime’s team do the vineyard work. 4ha from two suppliers. Intense fresh purple with a dark centre. I didn’t expect this quality on the nose, after a Vosne Romanée. This is not the strawberry part of town. A balanced mixed red fruit leading to a crips but prolonged finish, beautifully juicy with a good cut of mineral acidity. Beautiful, maybe brilliant! Drink from 2028-2034.
