A more restrained nose grudgingly reveals its ripe and ultra-spicy aromas of plum and black cherry liqueur. There is both fine freshness and punch to the beautifully detailed and equally stony medium weight flavors that terminate in a chiseled, youthfully austere and Zen-like finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. This too is a really lovely wine and classic Caillerets in its refinement and sense of harmony.
