A sunny spot with hydric stress under the very stony white soil, the 2020 Folatières still yielded 40 hl/ha. Fine mid yellow colour. The nose expresses power, not detail. 14.2% alcohol but does not taste out of balance, indeed there is marvellous heart to this, a little white peach but with a crispness attached, not over exotic. Not for the faint of heart but still very successful. Ten years at least please! Tasted: November 2021.
