A ripe but still very pinot-like nose reflects notes of various red berries, anise and a touch of forest floor character. The delicious and finer, but not denser, medium weight flavors possess a caressing texture as well as slightly better depth and persistence on the better-balanced finale. To be sure, here too there is a touch of warmth, but it is slightly less prominent. Note that this too could be enjoyed young.
