A more elegant, spicier and even more floral-suffused nose is composed by notes of both red and dark cherry and a whiff of exotic tea. The super-sleek, delineated and utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors also possess a highly beguiling texture while displaying stunningly good length on the moderately austere, balanced and equally built-to-age finale. Sheer class. (Drink starting 2040)
A dense crimson purple. Fractionally reductive on the nose, rather firm as a result. Dark cherries on the palate, the reductive element continues. Harder to judge today. Slightly fuller and more cheerful at the finish, and this may yet grow further.
