Tasting Notes

The 2023 Bourgogne Rouge Les Perrières is sourced from a single parcel near Santenay, with a north-to-northeast exposure. It has a delightful bouquet of pure cherries mixed with wild strawberry and raspberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, lively and engaging, with crunchy red fruit and a dash of white pepper. What a delicious, unpretentious Pinot! (Drink between 2025-2029)

A pleasing pinkish ruby. Here the bouquet shows a finer quality of fruit, more raspberry than cherry, with a crunchy tannin or two behind along with good acidity. This is crisply attractive with good persistence. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Oct 2024.
