Pungent aromas of wood toast and firm reduction completely overshadow the fruit. Much more interesting are the concentrated and sappy medium-bodied flavors that possess an even finer mouthfeel as well as a subtle bead of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the plump but punchy finale. This is also very good for its level and a wine that could be enjoyed young or with 5 to 8 years of cellaring. (Drink starting 2029)
A cuvée ronde up and down the slope, from Millerands to Clous. Mid lemon in colour, a fair weight of orchard fruit on the nose, this Meursault fleshes out very well on the palate while retaining a fine thread of citrus acidity that extends the finish.
