Gevrey Chambertin VV, Domaine Fourrier 2020

Tasting Notes

Notes of peonies, rose petals, raspberries, loamy soil and orange rind introduce the 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, open and charming wine with melting tannins, lively acids and a saline finish.

William Kelley, Wine Advocate, January 2022

Fine crimson purple. The fruit comes across as a touch richer than the Chambolle, but still nicely in balance. No more than medium bodied, much more about finesse and balance, good acidity, peppery finish after the perfumed fresh strawberry fruit.
