Pale orangey pink, a little darker than many a rosé champagne. Rich aroma of red plum, slightly peachy but also some vibrant redcurrant, plus a hint of nutty brioche character. Powerful, almost peppery on the palate, the fine and persistent mousse giving it a ‘peppery’ texture. Richer and darker fruited on the palate than on the nose. Full-bodied and full-flavoured, the light tannins and power making this a food wine par excellence. Long, satisfying and utterly fresh finish. Drink: 2023-2032
A very elegant vintage rosé with wonderfully expressive red berry, blood orange and rhubarb aromas. Complex and finely-nuanced, this glides over your palate in spite of the healthy structure. Long finish that's driven by the fine tannins and chalky minerality. The same basic blend as the 2012 vintage champagne from this house, but with 9% of red wine. Drink or hold.
