Founded as a farm by Giuseppe Boasso upon returning from WW2, the estate was converted to vineyards in the 1980s. With holdings including the excellent Margheria, Lazzarito and Gabutti vineyards, the style here is quite forward and approachable, with a deftness of touch.

Complex wine focused on dried cherries, sweet violets, smoky tones and almost meaty depth. Very intense. Firm on the palate with dusty, muscular tannins and crisp acidity, medium to full body and a warming finish. Best after 2027.
