Puligny Montrachet Climats, Thomas-Collardot 2023

Tasting Notes

Nowadays a bigger blend, as more wine from several of the lieux-dits is included. The nose is not particularly forthcoming. Apples and a touch of yellow fruit, a bit more complexity here, unsurprisingly, and fine length, with adequate acidity and a slight youthful bitterness. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Nov 2024.

Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, January 2025

Pretty aromas of white flowers, citrus confit, apple, passion fruit and exotic tea are complemented by medium weight flavors that are not quite as dense though they are finer and with more evident minerality on the balanced, firm and age worthy finale. This is lovely and worth considering. Note: this used to be a blend of all of the domaine's vineyards and hence the name; now however the two 1ers have been removed and as such, it is a blend of 6 villages-level lieux-dits
