Noticeable but not intrusive wood frames earthier and distinctly sauvage dark berry fruit aromas that are less elegant but every bit as complex as any of those of the prior wines gives way to rich, full and textured flavors that possess fine volume and mid-palate sap that buffers the firm tannins, all wrapped in a delicious finish where a subtle minerality can also be detected.
