Tasting Notes

This area in southern France close to the Spanish border tends to be overlooked a pity as the wines are special rich fleshy complex full of figs and Christmas pudding. The voluptuous richness the black fruited sweetness on the mid palate is underpinned by fresher flavours just a touch of wild strawberry and bramble there is a feel of youth yet maturity. It's a wine to be savoured one to linger over it goes well with blue cheese and if you want a change from port this is your wine. Drink 2013-2018.
