Ripe and fresh aromas consist mostly of dark currant, violet, newly turned earth and a whiff of wood spice. The slightly sleeker middle weight flavors are not quite as dense but they're a bit finer on the well-detailed and equally saline-inflected finale. This is also worth checking out as it is a wine that could be enjoyed on the younger side or aged over the mid-term. Note: this is actually a blend of Le Fourneau and Jouise that most people would not know isn't exclusively from Jouise given the very close similarity of the names; vinified with 50% whole clusters Drink: 2026+
