Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses, Domaine Rion 2009

High-toned red pinot fruit aromas liberally laced with spice and dried blue berries give way to rich, fleshy and seductively textured medium weight flavors that possess a lacy mouth feel on the beautifully balanced and pure finish. This has sufficient mid-palate sap that it could actually be enjoyed now though it should benefit substantially from 6 to 8 years of bottle age. A classy effort.
