The 2022 Mercurey 1er Cru Les Champs Martin is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with notes of sweet stone fruits, clear honey, freshly baked bread and beeswax. Medium- to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's dense but racy, with a taut core of ripe fruit and a long, saline finish.
