One 228 litre barrel, the first picked, at 13.4% as finished wine. Pale lemon and lime. The Folatières has a very pleasing nose, the fruit not hidden behind the oak. Nicely nuanced, a little eggy nose, good tension here, with a fine long finish. All elements well integrated and a lively finish and a slight saline touch – but it’s the fruit that really wins through. Drink from 2025-2031.
