The 2024 Chevalier-Montrachet Demoiselles Grand Cru has a clean, precise and focused bouquet. It is very controlled, perhaps not the most flattering Chevalier at this primal stage, though delineated and focused. The palate is precise and intense, yet it is blessed with a surfeit of elegance and refinement. There is a real peacock's tail on the finish that stretches on and on. One of Jadot's best wines in 2024. 2028-2052
2 x 350l barrels made, so a yield of just 14 hl/ha. Evidently higher up the slope, which gives a dancing quality, while the low yield in this instance seems genuinely to concentrate the wine. Greater intensity at the back of the palate than the Bâtard and with notable persistence. Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted Oct 2025.
