The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Réferts is rich and ripe, delivering aromas of peach, white flowers, toasted nuts, citrus pith and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a sweet core of fruit, it's another demonstrative wine from Carillon this year.
Pale clear colour. White fruit again but this time more flesh is evident. Generous, without being heated, adequate acidity, in some ways quite forward but with the bottom to age as well. The best aftertaste of the three premiers crus.
