Fuller yellow, but clean and clear. Closed on the nose. Very restrained also on the palate but with massive intensity and a fresh backbone, Fresh apples, a limestone bench, not at all a sultry Bâtard but really fine. A little fresh aniseed to finish. I would have liked to spend quite a bit more time watching this develop.
