We have really enjoyed the style of Doisy Vedrines in recent years, offering superb value for money with its fresh and vibrant wines never cloying or heavy. This Barsac property of 35 hectares is planted with 80% Semillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Muscadelle.

The 2019 Doisy-Vedrines has a powerful nose, more generous than the Doisy-Daëne, though without the same mineralité or breeding; still, it is very pure. The palate is well balanced with a viscous opening and good acidity (more so than recent vintages) that lends all the tension you need on the ginger-tinged finish. Very fine. 2024 - 2050
The 2019 Doisy-Védrines has an intense nose, though it does not quite have the precision of the Doisy-Daëne. The palate is very well balanced, a little fatter than its aforementioned Barsac sibling, a welcome touch of spice (lemongrass and ginger) surfacing towards its satisfying conclusion. Good potential. 2024 - 2050
