A small quantity (under 1000 cases) of white wine is made at Lynch Bages. The mix here is 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 33% Semillon and 17% Muscadelle.
Floral and grapey on the nose, with hints of lanolin and sweet vanilla. The palate is pure and youthful with hints of passion flower, grapefruit and lemon blossom. There is a waxy, oily depth that builds through the mid palate, adding intrigue and complexity. Layered, fragrant and broad on the finish.
