Imperial purple veering towards the blacker side. The Nuits part of its personality is stronger than the Vosne this year, in its majesty. The Boudots stands head and shoulders above the other Nuits-St-Georges wines, perfectly balanced, huge weight up front, a little touch of balancing acidity. Robust and silky at the same time. Just the right tannins
