Tasting Notes

The 2021 Chianti Classico Riserva is a young, potent wine that still needs time to soften. Beams of tannin enshroud a core of dark-toned fruit in a muscular, explosive Chianti Classico built for the cellar. Readers will have to be patient. Black cherry, leather, incense, licorice and graphite are all signatures of a serious, structured Riserva with a bright future. (Drink between 2026-2038)
