Ex-cellar bottle tasted blind at the Lynch Bages vertical. This has a quaint nose, well-defined, not complex, blackberry, a touch of tobacco, some wine gums but not much lift...but attractive in its own way. The palate is well balanced, medium-bodied, lovely blackcurrant, raisin and a touch of fig. Very fresh and well balanced, pencil lead, building nicely towards the surprisingly flesh finish. Good length. Quite unbelievable this is a 1991! Drink now-2012+
