Tasting Notes

Blackcurrant, clove, dark chocolate and graphite on the nose. Dried violets, too. It’s medium-bodied with firm, tight tannins. Layered and elegant with pretty floral tones. 45% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot, 10% petit verdot and 5% cabernet franc. Try from 2024.

Thoroughly enjoyable, with the high powered black fruit and smoked oak that is a signature of Chasse-Spleen and that gives huge promise as to how well this wine will age. 5% Cabernet Franc completes the blend. Drinking Window 2024 - 2040
