The Sta Rita Hills Cuvée bottling rounds the edges of the vibrant Chardonnays from Racines with a lushness of ripe fruit and a creamy touch of oak—honeysuckle and lemon curd aromatics, with dried white wildflowers and fresh linen. Round sweet citrus on the palate is accented by fresh tarragon, a touch of toasted almond and a concentrated beeswax finish. 2024-2032.
A blend of Wenzlau, La Rinconada and Bentrock aged in a mixture of barrique and puncheon, the 2021 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills Cuvée is fresh, tangy and flinty on the nose. The palate is svelte and succulent, lined with taut acidity supported by a gentle creaminess. The finish is balanced between lift and depth, slowly unfolding with additional layers of richness and salinity with aeration.
