Cool, elegant and wonderfully pure aromas include those of the essence of acacia and gardenia, spice and a whiff of white peach that are trimmed in almost imperceptible wood. The succulent yet powerful medium-bodied flavors are not especially dense but they do possess an absolutely gorgeous mouthfeel while retaining impeccable balance on the massively persistent finish. While certainly an imposing wine, this is what I would describe as a Montrachet of finesse but one that should have no trouble rewarding extended keeping. Note: from Puligny fruit
Mid lemon colour. Discreet but majestic nose. No problem with at all. So many threads on the palate, one greener which lifts it, but the individual fruits should not be singled out – nectarine, passion fruit without excess, a broad base of your favourite apple, lean and sinewy but entirely compelling. Drink from 2031-2040.
