Deep ruby/purple in color with some creamy oak intermixed with straightforward black currant fruit, this wine is elegant, moderately concentrated, and best drunk during its first 7-8 years of life.
Attractive berry and spice aromas follow through to a medium-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a fresh finish. A nice wine for the vintage
Quite concentrated foxglove aromas - ripe, wild, black fruit with a touch of Earl Grey tea. Lively, sappy, well balanced, not especially intense but a good harmonious mouthful for the medium term
