Ultra dense deep purple black. This is so backward on the nose, but promising a great deal. The style of the fruit is borderline raisiny but that could be the sample because it finishes fresh enough. Actually, we are more in the sun dried cherry camp. Amazingly persistent fruit on the palate. I have confidence in this based on the finish, but harder to pinpoint today, so a conservative rating.
