Lustrous, youthful, deep ruby. Seductive mint, raspberry and cherry perfumes on the nose and with a hint of raw meat. With more aeration, rosemary hints, but the overall impression is that this takes its time to open up. In a blind tasting, I would probably have thought this had seen oak. Compact, fresh red fruit, with a rich layer of grainy tannins adding great texture, but they will need more time to integrate. A little more composed and elegant than the Titolo Classico of the same vintage, but both will improve with time. This, however, is the more readily approachable of the two. Drink: 2024-2032
