The 2024 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières (Domaine Louis Jadot) is showing beautifully, bursting with aromas of crisp orchard fruit, buttery pastry, citrus leaves and wet stones. Medium- to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with excellent density and ripeness, it's underpinned by a racy spine of acidity, concluding with a penetrating finish.
A full lemon yellow. The bouquet has a penetrating sense of Genevrières, juniper and fresh herbs, plus a little bit of oak. There is a really significant depth of white fruit here, kept attractively fresh. A long and impressive finish. Drink from 2031-2037. Tasted Oct 2025.
