Very tight on the nose, pure stone fruit comes through with a little coaxing in the glass. The palate, too, is in an awkard phase, with slightly baked fruit and a touch of solvent-like spice in wood. There are pine kernels, white peach and steely acids here. It all just needs to come together. I would like to taste this again to see how it changes in bottle.
