Bright light-medium yellow with an aroma that recalls celery and dusty/earthy brushed potato. There is a touch of apparent sweetness on the mid-palate and the finish fills in with a gentle touch of tannin. There is weight and depth of flavour, but a note of less-ripe fruit—like a greener year Chablis—holds it back a smidge.
