Give it a few minutes and the wine opens to delicate tones of tart cherry, blackcurrant and soft earth. It offers lasting freshness over a silky, medium-plus mouthfeel.

Rose, menthol, forest floor and leather aromas come to the forefront along with the barest whiff of asphalt. Full-bodied and structured, the palate delivers raspberry, blood orange, licorice and a minty note alongside firm, fine-grained tannins. Drink 2029–2044.
