This classic, elegant wine has a very light colour yet fairly pronounced perfumed aromas of pomegranate and raspberry with a floral edge. The body is light, and the acidity is fresh, yet there is enough substance to satisfy. It is a blend of the lieux-dits Le Village, Le Pré, La Sorgentière, and La Vionne, wholly destemmed and gently fermented before a relatively short maturation in used casks to preserve the fruit.
