There is a concentrated and elegant blackberry fruit shaded with mineral and smoke notes on the initial attack of this attractive wine by young vigneron Pascal Pernot in Gevrey. He has nearly a hectare on this site in Brochon, where his neighbours include Pierre Duroché among others. The vines are planted in thin soils over a large slab of limestone. The wine is structured, firm and dense, but with time should open nicely. (Drink between 2025-2040)
