The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses (Domaine Louis Jadot) is the most aromatic wine in the range, bursting with notes of rose petals, orange zest, musky spices and sweet red berries, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and perfumed palate that's satiny and saline.
A perfumed, airy and beautifully layered nose freely reveals aromas of plum, spice, red and dark currant and more moderate oak influence. The gorgeously textured medium weight flavors possess even better size and weight while delivering fine length on the impressively persistent finish that also displays a touch of bitter pit fruit character. Excellent potential here.

Here the expressive nose is both spicier and more floral-suffused to the elegant red cherry, currant and rose petal scents. The super-sleek and chiseled middle weight flavors, like those of the Bonnes Mares, aren't especially concentrated, but they do deliver outstanding persistence on the balanced finish that is sheer class. This is terrific and should age accordingly.
