Tasting Notes

The 2021 Olivier Blanc exhibits aromas of green apples, Sauvignon botanicals, white flowers and struck match, followed by a medium-bodied, taut and saline palate. Chiseled and incisive, it shows promise.

William Kelley, RobertParker.com, April 2022

The 2021 Olivier Blanc has a complex bouquet, much more-so than the red, with orange blossom, orange pith, hints of chamomile and light waxy scents. The palate is very well-balanced with a keen line of acidity, taut and fresh with a brightness on the finish that is very appealing. This is a white Pessac with pedigree, and it should drink well for 15 to 20 years. (Drink between 2026-2040)

Neal Martin, vinous.com, February 2024

Medium-bodied with a fresh, well-framed and flavorful palate. Green apple, pineapple and a hint of nutmeg. Creamy and fresh.

James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, May 2022

Lemon and lime, nice freshness and sense of lift. Precision with purity to the texture and fruit with lots of salty tones on the finish and edges of the mouth. Mouthwatering acidity does well to give life and this has a nice easy balance and good drinkability. A little bitter and toasted on the finish which will settle. (Drink between 2025-2035)
