Dark ruby, verging on crimson. Very broad with an exaggerated ‘charred’ element. So luscious and ripe on palate entry with top notes of beef tea. But overall a bigger, beefier wine than the Poggio Doria 2010. Lots of fun. But broader and burlier. For emphatic meat dishes. Drink between 2019-2034.
