The 2022 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard is wonderfully expressive right out of the gate. Lemon confit, apricot, white flowers, mint and chamomile all grace this exquisite Chardonnay. The 2022 has a bit more textural richness and phenolic intensity than most years. Even so, this is beguiling. Drink: 2024-2031.

The 2022 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard combines refined tropical power with flashy, radiant aromatics, leading with pineapple rind, oatmeal and citrus peel aromas. The palate is oily and nearly sumptuous before pulling back into a punchy finish that remains clean and chiseled, enriched with caramelized decadence after further aeration. This is a beautifully approachable yet serious entryway into the Chanin roster of vineyard-designate Chardonnays. Drink: 2024-2030
