Tasting Notes

First impression is the bass notes of a wine from Burgundy rather than the prominent fruit of many Australian examples. Savoury rather than oaky though the oak is there in mealy/spicy depth. Beautifully balanced and fresh, with both tension and texture. Bone dry but rich – the richness offset by the freshness. Great harmony and persistence. Drink: 2026-2032
