A wonderfully fresh and bright nose is comprised by notes of green apple, citrus and cool mineral reduction. The intense and well-delineated, if less concentrated, middle weight flavors are shaped by lemon-tinged acidity on the markedly stony, clean and nicely dry but not really austere finale. The mouthfeel is classic Monts Luisants, e.g., like rolling a small pebble around the palate. (Drink starting 2030)
The last picked, but a site which can manage that, and has held on to its acidity. The plot was planted in 1987 on grèzes litées soil. The wine shows the hillside limestone character delightfully, with a long, refined finish. The pick of the whites here.
