Very impressive this year, the Salt Point speaks to its name, with preserved lemons, lime and salt, and struck flint on the nose. The palate is much the same in fruit profile, with a superb, chalky texture that adds interest, balance and structure. This is a pure, driven, spicy wine that I suspect will be even better in a year or two. Tightly wound with a very long finish, this is seriously impressive.
